Our scaffolding and access service provision comes entirely from within the Cape group - we own all the equipment we use, and our staff are employed, so can provide fast response times,with the work guaranteed to be of Cape's usual excellent standard. Additionally, all staff have been trained to UK standards.

All our scaffolding and access solutions are bespoke to the customers' needs - from the simplest to the most complex - and are provided on a fully-designed, costed and cost-effective basis. These solutions cover all aspects of the scaffolding process, including:

• Access
• Weather protection
• Temporary formwork/falsework
• Support structures

Our design process is carried out by qualified and experienced Cape Design Engineers, using AutoCad 2008, and can thus be transmitted electronically worldwide. Naturally, safety is our priority. Therefore, design schemes are executed to the highest technical standards, and completed in compliance with ISO 9001 procedures and incorporate design risk assessment to satisfy the CDM Regulations requirements within the UK. In addition, should there be any special requirements regarding technical aspects such as components or alternative means of access, we are able to address these through the expertise of the in-house technical department.

Typically we will provide and manage a common user scaffold service available to all onsite trades, ensuring consistently high safety standards and cost-effective utilisation. However, along with our complete range of traditional scaffolding services, other access solutions we offer include:

We have a large number of scaffolding and access contracts underway, including:

• 10-year, £78 million contract for Scottish Power Generation ltd
• $7.4million contract for the Kashagan development on behalf of Kazakhstan IGS SICIM
• $30 million worth of contracts including scaffolding, for the construction of the YANSAB Olefins 1 Complex in Saudi Arabia
• 5 year contract for British Energy for scaffolding and maintenance for 5 power stations
• Managing and constructing more than 2,000 tonnes of scaffold over an 18 month period with a team at peak capacity of 300 for the Inco Goro Nickel project in new Caledonia.
