Eric - Insulation Superintendent
Eric Borbon is an Insulation Superintendent, who has been working for Cape for 13 years now with an extensive experience in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plant, Refineries and Construction Industry, onshore and offshore. Eric is a college graduate from Batangas State University, finishing Mechanical Technology. He has successfully completed a year apprenticeship in Welding and Fabrication Engineering that has led him in gaining extensive working experience in the construction and maintenance of Oil/Gas, Petrochemical Facilities both onshore and offshore.

Eric was entrusted a supervisory role having been demonstrated his capability in assuming a higher responsibility. Having to gain such extensive experiences, he had worked in various projects including Bayu Undan Gas Recycle April Shutdown, Malampaya CM Backlog Project, Caltex-Naphtha Splitter Column Project, Malampaya Platform Hook-up Commissioning Project, and Caltex San Pascual Project, of which he had been assigned in different job roles as an insulator, sheet metal fabricator, foreman, ISO tracker, and insulation superintendent. Of all the Cape’s projects that Eric had been assigned to, he is in no doubt that he had successfully contributed his full potential.
Eric had attended numerous training courses that have contributed in his further knowledge and greater capabilities. Naming these training courses are First Step Program, Supervisory Development Program, Asbestos Awareness, Risk Assessment, Confined Space Entry, Asbestos Awareness Refresher, IMS Supervisory Training Course, Risk Assessment & Health/Safety Law, IMS Lifting Operations/Rigging Operations, Safety Harness User Inspection, Awareness Working at Heights, COSHH Awareness, General Awareness Course, Use of Gin Wheel, Manual Handling, Perform CPR, Further Offshore Emergency Training IDESS Maritime Training Centre, HSE Awareness, Block A Safety Leadership, and Safe Start Training.
