Access
- Rigger - Advanced
Responsible for leading a team of Basic Riggers, plus able to carry out special machinery lifting, leading complex lifts or lifts with no standard lifting procedure and testing lifting equipment.
- Rigger - Basic
Providing support for standard crane ground support, lifting with permanently installed lifting beams, operating overhead cranes in buildings and associated rigging work and fitting lifting frames.
- Rope Access Technician - Level 3
With a minimum of 12 months and 1,000 hours of work experience as a level 2 rope access technician, you are capable of site supervision for rope access work projects, have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques and are conversant with relevant work techniques legislation.
- Rope Access Technician - Level 2
Having a minimum of 1 year and 1,000 hours of work experience in a variety of tasks as a level 1 rope access technician, you are capable of rigging ropes and undertaking rescues, including hauling all under the supervision of a level 3 Rope Access Technician.
- Rope Access Technician - Level 1
Having a basic trade in one of our core disciplines or other specialisms, but undergoing extensive training to carry out that work from ropes. Always working under the observation of a Level 3 Supervisor, you help us carry out work in hard to reach places.
- Scaffolding - Supervisor
Providing supervision, direction and drive to Scaffold teams within your location, you liaise with client and Cape management on progress of Scaffolding activities.
- Scaffolding - Foreman
Supervise a number of scaffolding charge hands within your locations, and ensure appropriate resources and equipment are available.
- Scaffolder - Chargehand
Are Advanced Scaffolders who are in charge of a number of gangs of scaffolders and work with Advanced Scaffolders on the erecting, alteration and dismantling of complex design scaffolds.
- Scaffolder - Advanced
Leading gangs of three or four scaffolders, you are responsible for safe completion of all scaffolding work conducted by your gang. You are also able to erect, alter and dismantle tubular drop scaffolding, off steelwork, raking shores, flying shores, two-way shores, dead shores and temporary roof scaffolds, as well as interpreting all design drawings.
- Scaffolder - Basic
Work in gangs of three or four to erect, alter and dismantle tower, independent, birdcage, slung, cantilever, truss-out, temporary suspended and special design scaffolds. All Scaffolders are qualified to the required national or international standard and have completed Cape Scaffolding Training/Assessment Programmes.
- Scaffolder - Trainee
Work under the supervision of scaffolders on the erection and dismantling of basic structures, but are undertaking full training alongside work experience to become a scaffolder.
- Scaffolder - Labourer/Helper
Support the Scaffolding teams moving and carrying the Scaffolding equipment around the site or laying out for the Scaffolders to erect.
