Cape awarded additional contract with Huntsman on Teesside

Cape plc (CIU.LN), an international leader in the provision of critical industrial services to the energy and natural resources sectors, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a new contract with the global chemicals manufacturer Huntsman Corporation. The new contract, which is for three years with a two-year extension option, will see Cape providing scaffolding, insulation and painting services in addition to the existing fabrication, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, rigging and engineering services provided to Huntsman’s Polyurethanes facility at Wilton on Teesside.

Commenting on the award, Simon Hicks, Regional Managing Director for Cape in the UK said: “We are delighted to have secured this additional contract with Huntsman. The contract complements our existing service provision, is aligned with our strategy of filling white spaces with existing customers and allows us to deliver our services through one focussed team. We look forward to further developing our relationship with Huntsman and safely and efficiently delivering our services."
