CIS

Cape has been providing a range of support services, including scaffolding, coating and insulation, painting and fireproofing, to on and offshore oil and gas sector clients in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) since 1998. Our reliability, efficiency and safety credentials have helped us establish and maintain lasting relationships with our clients in the region.

Our clients include Aker Solutions, PFEC, Bonatti, Fluor Daniels, SNGS and ATA Alliance Topsides, and we have around 2,300 Cape people in the region - nearly all recruited locally and trained to achieve internationally recognised skills and safety standards. We also aim to source materials and services locally to support regional economies wherever we operate.

Extremely cold working conditions can be a challenge in parts of this region - particularly in the harsh winters of Kazakhstan and Russia, and our clients rely on our expertise in coping with adverse conditions.

We have won several awards for our safety and performance in the CIS, where Exxon Neftegaz Limited recently pronounced our Sakhalin team Contractor of the Year for its excellent safety record at the Sakhalin-1 Project and we recently received an award for our scaffolding services at ATA Alliance in Azerbaijan.

Cape people in the region are proud to organise a number of charitable initiatives. We work with government representatives to visit the homes of elderly people and boarding schools, and help support disadvantaged families.
