South East Asia

Cape has been in Asia for over 17 years, and today employs around 1,900 people in the region, providing a range of non-mechanical industrial support services to clients in the onshore oil and gas, power generation, petrochemical and pharmaceutical sectors. Our services include scaffold access, formwork, insulation, fireproofing and protective coating applications, for a long list of long-term clients that includes Esso, Chevron/Caltex, SCG Dow, and CBI.

Our excellent safety record in the region reflects Cape's international drive for incident-free workplaces - we recently passed five million man-hours without a single Lost Time Incident (LTI). This is a significant milestone, considering some of the hazardous environments, extreme temperatures and unpredictable weather systems we work in.

Some of our key current projects in Asia include:

  • Shaw’s Singapore Parallel Trains
  • SCG Dow SE and SPE II
  • CUEL
  • Esso and SPRC refineries (maintenance)
  • Bechtel SPRC and FW Sriracha clean fuels
  • CBI
  • Balai Kota
  • Ciputra World
  • Chevron North Duri (maintenance).

By taking an intelligent and forward-thinking approach to each project's unique requirements, and delivering projects on time, we have built excellent relationships with our clients in Asia. We also contribute to the economy at regional and local level - we employ large numbers of local people, and offer all our Asia on-site teams site and project-specific training to internationally recognised standards.
