Northern Gulf

Cape employs over 2,000 people operating in 3 countries across the Northern Gulf – Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait – providing a wide range of services to clients throughout the Area, among them Bapco, Asry, Saudi Aramco, SABIC, Hyundai, MMG, NSH and JGC. Our presence dates back to 1979, since then we have built many successful partnerships, becoming first choice service provider for clients in the on and offshore oil and gas, power generation, cement, minerals and mining, and chemical sectors. Our success is based on our proven expertise and reputation for safety, reliability and innovation.

With around 1,600 people working at Cape in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, our services include insulation, access, coating and painting, refractory and thermal dry-outs, and fireproofing. Our safety record is excellent, despite working in extreme weather conditions, with regular sandstorms and temperatures ranging between 50°C in summer and 5°C in winter. We have a permanent training facility in the region to help our many local employees develop the skills and expertise to enjoy long and successful careers with Cape.

Our business continues to grow in the Kingdom of Bahrain where we work closely with Bapco, ASRY, GPIC and Alba to name a few.

Kuwait remains a sleeping giant and we await the release of projects and heavy maintenance contracts.

We enjoy excellent relations with all clients, each relationship having been established for at least 15 years, and we continue to work closely with them through all stages of their projects, meeting their unique requirements. In recognition of our expertise, reliability and focus on safety, Aramco and SABIC have awarded Cape Best Contractor awards.

We also ensure we comply with all local environmental regulations – for example, working with the Royal Commission authorities in whichever industrial areas we are present. Wherever we operate, we contribute to social programmes, and Cape sponsor events organised by local authorities during Ramadan.
