Middle East

Cape's operates in the Middle East from its regional headquarters in Dubai with operations in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Oman and Azerbaijan.

Cape is the largest provider of industrial services in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, and has been in the region for over 30 years. We have expanded significantly in this market, and now employ over 8,900 people in the Middle East to support clients across a wide range of sectors safely, reliably and intelligently. Our many successful long-term client relationships in the region are based on excellent response times, proven expertise and an unrivalled safety record, as well as the ability to deal with summer temperatures of up to 50°C and high humidity levels.

Cape has built many successful partnerships, becoming first choice service provider for clients in the on and offshore oil and gas, power generation, cement, minerals and mining, and chemical sectors. Our success is based on our proven expertise and reputation for safety, reliability and innovation.

We enjoy excellent relations with all clients, each relationship having been established for at least 15 years, and we continue to work closely with them through all stages of their projects, meeting their unique requirements. Our many long-term partnerships with clients in the area have been developed through our reliability, proven expertise and keen focus on safety. We always take the time to understand our clients' needs and the challenges they face, and identify the best possible ways to meet them. Clients include Saudi Aramco, SABIC, Hyundai, MMG, NSH, JGC, Royal Commission, Qatargas, Descon, RasGas, Qatar Petroleum.

Our safety record is excellent, with Cape's focus on quality and safety reflected in the many awards we've received for work in this region, such as QAPCO's Best Contractor Safety award, and a safety achievement award from RasGas for completing 10 million man-hours with no Lost-Time Incidents (LTIs). Accreditations for ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (health and safety) standards, support our reputation for high quality and safety performance.

We also ensure we comply with all local environmental regulations – for example, working with the Royal Commission authorities in whichever industrial areas we are present. Wherever we operate, we contribute to social programmes, and Cape sponsor events organised by local authorities during Ramadan. Our support for the locality involves contributing to Indian Community Welfare through the Indian Embassy in Qatar.

We contribute significantly to regional and local economies in the Middle East through recruitment, training, and by bringing word-class technology to local oil and gas industries. Cape is involved with charities and fundraising initiatives in the region, and recently donated computer equipment for a fundraising to support the charity Friends of Cancer Patients (F.O.C.P.).
