Offshore
Cape has been supporting installations in the UK offshore region for over 30 years. We currently employ around 1,200 people in the region in management, support and on-site roles, and offer a full range of specialist fabric maintenance services, including access, painting, insulation, industrial cleaning, inspection, and deck operations including helicopter landing officers - for clients such as BP, Shell Northern Plants and Perenco.
Cape works closely with UK Oil and Gas, the Offshore Contractors Association (OCA), the Health and Safety Executive and several other leading industry bodies, to ensure safe working practices across its operations, particularly important when working in the northern North Sea's low temperatures, high winds and rough seas. We also work with the UK Decommissioning Forum to establish safe and environmentally friendly ways to decommission offshore.
We establish, develop and maintain excellent relationships with our clients by keeping in close and regular contact, aligning our expertise and experience with their key objectives, and continuously looking into fresh, forward-thinking ways to improve safety, reliability and efficiency in the work we conduct for them.

Our UK offshore projects currently include:
- All BP platforms
- Perenco – Southern North Sea support contract
- BHP – fabric maintenance in Southern North Sea
- Shell Northern Plants – St Fergus, Mossmorran and Braefoot Bay
- Heerema – support contract
- Maersk
